Our Work
Our work includes:
- Developing risk governance agenda across different risk issues,
- Making recommendations to decision and policy makers,
- Identifying and correcting institutional and structural inefficiencies which may be preventing the effectiveness of risk governance capabilities or processes,
- Identifying opportunities in specific risks and putting in place strategies on how best to exploit them.
Our Risk Governance framework
Our risk governance framework consist of the identification, the analysis, the evaluation, the prioritisation of existing, new and potential risks that represent a threat to Africa’s development and of recommendations for their treatment.
This framework puts these risks in their economic, political, social, cultural, scientific and human contexts and applies the principles of good governance that include inclusiveness, transparency, effectiveness, accountability, strategic focus, sustainability, equity and fairness as well as the legal, ethical and political correctness.
